Megan Rafferty is a Forensic Accountant with the FBI New York Joint Terrorism Taskforce (JTTF) with over five years of experience. Ms. Rafferty spent her first two years at the FBI working terrorism financing cases involving subjects based in New York City. Since 2022, she has been covering two of the New York JTTF’s extraterritorial squads tracing terrorism financing networks throughout Western Europe, Canada, and The United Kingdom. Prior to joining the FBI, Ms. Rafferty spent four years working as an Auditor-Investigator for the New York State Attorney General’s Office. She graduated magna cum laude from Rider University where she earned a Master of Accountancy with a concentration in fraud and business forensics.  Ms. Rafferty currently resides in New Jersey with her two daughters.
